Dr. David Luongo

Dr. David Luongo is a thorough, determined podiatrist, treating patients in Midtown Manhattan, and Paramus, New Jersey. His goal as a practitioner is to serve his patients, educating them and helping them feel better. He believes in the old-school approach of spending enough time with each of his patients, to fully understand their needs and concerns, a practice lost in modern times.

In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Luongo attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He continued his medical education at Saint Claire’s Hospital and St. Vincent Midtown Hospital and served as assistant director, training new residents in Podiatric medicine and Surgery for 11 years. Dr. Luongo has received special training in diabetic care, wound care, surgery and customized orthotics and braces. He keeps his practice up-to-date through annual podiatric conferences in New York and Atlantic City.

Patients visiting Dr. Luongo can receive a full range of podiatric care. He provides general consultations and state of the art cryogenic and laser wart removal, laser fungal nail treatment, sports related injuries, as well as care for all foot and ankle ailments including, gout, ulcers, fungal nails, bunions, arthritis, ingrown nails, walking problems, and orthopedic shoes. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Luongo spends time coaching his son’s sports teams, and runs and participates in the largest stickball league in the tri-state area. He also enjoys skiing and building engines for his cars.
